Ålstensängen/Meadow

A meadow without facilities, but with recreational opportunities. In winter there is a sledding hill and in summer the area serves as a play meadow with a sandy beach. The area around Ålstenshamnen has been used in many different ways. The arrival of spring is usually celebrated at Ålstensängen with a bonfire at Valborgsmässogärdet and ends with fireworks. It is the classic place for Walpurgis celebrations in the immediate area//Wikipedia.
