Vårflodsparken

The park stretches between Bägersta byväg, Estlandsgatan, Ålandsvägen and Livlandsgatan. It is elongated, about 600 meters long and 60–120 meters wide; approximately four hectares. The park is largely grassy and at the north-west end there is a playground with a paddling pool as well as a ball field and a children's hut. The park began to be built in 1929 and then got its name. The area was planned according to a simple, symmetrical grid pattern with Vårflodsparken as a green strip in the middle, where the Valla stream once flowed (now in a culvert).//Wikipedia
