Villa Sagatun

Construction year 1881, Brådstupsvägen 27. Built in 1881 for Gustaf Retzius and his wife Anna Hierta-Retzius. The villa is located at a height overlooking Lake Mälaren and Klubbensborg. The villa is a good example of the direction within the architecture called Antiquity style. The building received an imaginative embellishment and design with, among other things, dragon heads, porches, balconies, and arch-shaped windows. The roof was originally the chip dressed, which was switched to brick early on. The villa's largest room , the main room , is located upstairs and is a so-called high-top loft hall with open ceiling and interior in an Old Nordic style. On the rafters, the mindset was carved from Eddan. Private. Wikipedia
