Vattentorget (The Water Square) Slussen

Vattentorget is a new social space designed to take advantage of the proximity to the water and create more space for pedestrian and bicycle traffic between Södermalm and Old Town. The water square surrounds the three canals of the Victoria lock.
Here, visitors can sit down, watch boats that locks, and Mälaren's water gushing into the Salt Lake. Under the Slussbron there will be restaurants and outdoor seating with seating next to the water. On the Gamla Stan side there are terraced ledges of granite in the best sunny position. Here you can sit down for a while and enjoy the view towards Söder's heights.
