Sundbyberg's church

Sundbyberg Church is monumentally located at a height: Rosengatan 15. Sundbyberg Church began to be built in 1909, after it became clear earlier that year that Sundbyberg would form its own parish. Already in the autumn of 1910 the church was ready for inauguration, but due to a dispute over the cemetery with Bromma, the inauguration was postponed until June 4, 1911.
The church is a three-shipal Art Nouveau-style basilica, clearly influenced by the somewhat older Hjorthagen Church in Stockholm. Architect Axel Sjögren took the lead to give the church building clear features of Swedish national romanticism. The church is built in an east-west direction with the chancel designed as an absid. On the southwest side is the church tower. Parish hall, sacristy and other spaces are located in a separate expansion on the north side. Under the chancel was originally erected a grave chapel, which is now used as a small church. Wikipedia
