Stockholm's Central Station

The main building for Stockholm's central station was built according to drawings by architect Adolf W. Edelsvärd. The master builder was Carl Henric Hallström together with Lars Magnus Elfling. The building has since been remodeled and extended several times. The biggest changes took place in 1925–1928 when the large central hall was added, designed by architect Folke Zettervall, and in the mid-1950s when the station was connected to the Stockholm subway via the new underground tunnel and hall. The building was between 1986 and 2000 a state building monument. Since 2001 it has been an individual building monument, as it is owned by Jernhusen and not directly by the state.//Wikipedia
