Sculpture the Sunboat

On Evert Taube's terrace there is this abstract sculpture, created in 1966 by the artist Christian Berg. The sculpture's boulder came from the Idefjord en and initially weighed 16 tons. On the Sunboat, Berg said:” It’s a pearl-shimmering seashell form I'm working on, transforming into something I call a solar boat, which in its wind-filled sail form reflects the sun and light above, and which despite its static shape wants to provide a vision of progress.
