Skogskyrkogården UNESCO World Heritage Site

UNESCO World Heritage Site inaugurated in 1920. Architects Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz. The architects based natural conditions and created a landscape room with a sacred feel with five funeral chapels, three of which are gathered in the built-up forest crematorium. The burial sites themselves are mostly arranged in blocks inside the pine forest. There is also a memorial grove and a monumental hill, meditation grove, and a urn yard in the open for the placement of sepulchral urns//Wikipedia
