Three chapel - Decoration

The gates of the chapels have been decorated with bronze reliefs by Bror Hjort. In the hall way of the Chapel of the Holy Cross is the sculpture group Resurrection, created by John Lundqvist. He has also made the gilded Christ figure of the crucifix inside the chapel. Kapelle's large mural ”Life-death-life” was created by Sven Xet Erixson. Gunnar Asplund died in 1940 and his urn is grounded in one of the urn farms next to the Chapel of Faith. A simple memory board carries the inscription ”His work lives”. The chapel of hope is adorned with a marble mosaic of Otte Sköld that also created the altar crucifix in enamel. The stucco in the Chapel of Faith as well as the altar crucifix in onyx has Ivar Johnsson as the author.
