The house of Schantz

Schantzska huset is a building at Stortorget 20 next to Seyfridtzska huset in Gamla stan, Stockholm, built in 1650 and restored in 1905. The house is named after the builder, the royal secretary Johan Eberhard Schantz. The limestone portal is decorated by Johan Wendelstam with reclining Roman warriors, dated to 1650.
