S:t Göran's hospital
Construction year 1930. What is known today as St. Göran's Hospital received its first patient on 24 October 1888. At the inauguration, the hospital, designed by Per Emanuel Werming, had room for 279 patients. The old hospital was rebuilt, and new buildings were built. On September 16, 1930, the new St. Görans was inaugurated, with 841 hospital beds and a total of 358 employees. New buildings were built. A new surgery building was completed in 1985.
