Rökinda barnhem Jällö 9

Construction year 1916. The original house on the plot is a large, red-colored wooden villa built in 1916-1917 for the Bernström Foundation orphanage and was designed by the architectural firm Kellgren & Hammarling. The name ”Red Cheek” suggests that fresh air would give the children red cheeks. The large villa in traditional still with curbed roof is located on a hill with a south slope down towards Magelungen. //Wikipedia
