Rosenbad

The building was designed by the architect Ferdinand Boberg for AB Rosenbad and Nordiska Kreditbanken and was completed in 1902. The building is designed in the Art Nouveau style and richly decorated with detailed decorations carved in light red and white sandstone. The corners of the houses facing Strömgatan are dominated by openwork towers, which draw a pointed work towards the sky and is a typical Boberg architecture. The entire building complex, with its location next to Norrström, brings to mind a late Gothic palace in Venice. The building is the seat of Sweden's government. The prime minister has his office here, the government meets here and press conferences are held in the house. The building is blue marked by the City Museum in Stockholm, which means "that the building is deemed to have particularly high cultural and historical values"// Wikipedia
