Olovslund's pond

Olovslundsdammen in Bromma is one of Stockholm's most individual newt locations. Next to the natural pond is a splash pond that forms a trap for the salamanders during their spring migration to the natural pond. Since 2008, Olovslund School has mapped and rescued the salamanders found in the splash pond, which is dried up in the spring. During the spawning period - from March to the beginning of June - the splash pond next to the Olovslund dam is searched regularly. https://miljobarometern.stockholm.se/
