Modern Skarpnäck estate

Skarpnäck's farm is a former manor and large estate in Söderort in Brännkyrka parish in Stockholm municipality. Skarpa village is mentioned for the first time in 1318. The manor of Skarpnäck was founded in 1660 by Maria Sofia De la Gardie at Tyresö castle.[1] The farm's current main building was built in 1865–1867 on behalf of the German beer brewer Friedrich Rudolph Neumüller. In 1922, the farm and land were sold by Neumüller's descendants to the city of Stockholm. Since 1967, the municipality of Stockholm has run activities for homeless and men in need of care in Skarpnäcksgården. //Wikipedia
