Norsborgs air defense

Norsborg's anti-aircraft position is located at an altitude about 1000 meters northeast of Norsborg Water Works. The battery consisted of three 7.5 cm anti-aircraft cannon m/36 in characteristic octagonal defenses. Up on the hill there are also small circular guards for distance instruments, central instruments, fire line and protection for close-up protection with anti-aircraft machine gun or 20 mm anti-aircraft automatic cannon. The ammunition floor was also adjacent to these and below the mountain to the west was the manhood shelter. The battery was named 75.lvbatt within fo44. The battery had its gear battery area on a hill above Norsborg Manor 350 metres south. Here you can find three foundation rings in the mountain where the anti-aircraft pieces were mounted. On a hill in the north of the water plant area there is another anti-aircraft position that was armed with two 40 mm anti-aircraft automatic guns of type m/36. Stockholm's anti-aircraft batteries were not manned 24 hours a day from 1939-1945, but at some critical periods the units were battle-grouped in the positions, which in September 1939 (war outbreak of World War II), April 1940 (invasion of Denmark and Norway through Nazi Germany) and in the summer of 1941 (Operation Barbarossa, Nazi Germany's attack on the Soviet Union) //Wikipedia
