Northern Towers

Norra Tornen (previously named "Tors Torn") are two skyscrapers in the neighborhoods Helix and Innovationen at Torsplan in the northwestern part of Vasastaden in Stockholm. The twin towers were designed by the Dutch Office for Metropolitan Architecture and are respectively 110 and 125 meters high and contain a total of 330 apartments and shops on the ground floors. The northern towers were awarded the 2020 Internationaler Hochhaus Preis (International High Rise Award) presented by the city of Frankfurt and the Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM). The prize consists of 50,000 euros and a statuette.
Nominations for Stockholm Building of the Year:
The northeast of the two towers was nominated in 2018 under the name Innovationen.
The southwest of the two towers was nominated in 2020 under the name Helix.
