Sound works speakers Mariatorget

In autumn 2012, four sound works were inaugurated with hidden speakers on Mariatorget. Three are” Sound Room” where the sounds are taken from the four elements - soil, fire, water and air. They form three distinct audio areas or audio rooms, two of them are located towards Hornsgatan and one towards Sankt Paulsgatan. The fourth sound work is also located against Sankt Paulsgatan and is called” Spelrum”, where the swing movement provides a peaceful experience. The sound works are designed by Björn Hellström at Konstfack together with, among others, the Interactive Institute, Stockholm University and the Traffic Office. /Wikipedia
