Kungsholmen's high school

The school was built between 1904 and 1907 according to plans by architect Georg Ringström, while the facade was probably designed by Axel Anderberg and inaugurated as the most modern real school of its time. The school building is very different from other school buildings from that time period. Instead of the typical red brick building (eg Södra Latin, Östra Real and Mariaskolan), the school was built with a modern and innovative flair in alternating bright red brick and yellow-white plaster. The powerful sandstone framing of the entrance portal is clearly inspired by architect colleague Ferdinand Boberg. //Wikipedia
