Kungliga myntets (Royal coin) operations at Kungsholmen began in 1850, and became Sweden's only coinage with the right to mint the kingdom's coins, medallions and jetongs (gaming chips). The facility housed both a foundry and a mechanical workshop. On Kungsholmen there are now only two buildings from the end of the 18th century left.//Wikipedia
