Kevinge farm

Kevinge farm is a building located at Edsviken in Danderyd municipality, just north of Stockholm. Over the years, it has been a farmer's homestead. Today it is private residence. Kevinge is one of the ten farms in Danderyd that is believed to have been populated since the Viking age. On a ledge above the shore of Edsviken lies Kevinge burial ground. In the burial field you can today discern seven stone formations. Kevinge farm and associated land, belonged in the 17th century, to Djursholm but was revoked in 1695 and laid under Ulriksdals kungsgård. Kevinge was rent out by Kommerskollegium in 1791 for 50 years, to gold and silversmith Petter Eneroth. The lease amounted to about 111 rdr (old swedish money) annually. Eneroth built the current main building at Kevinge. According to tradition, Gustav III had made a draft of the building. Wikipedia
