Karlshäll's mansion

Karlshälls gård (also Carlshälls gård) is a manor-style ore farm on the island of Långholmen in the same district in Stockholm, since 1989 used as a restaurant, banquet hall and conference facility. Karlshäll is named after the first owner, Carl Modéer. Karlshäll was built in 1837–1838 as a residence for Långholm Prison's building manager Carl Modéer. his successor, brandy manufacturer Lars Ohlsson Smith, expanded the farm and, among other things, the Grindstugan was added.
