Karlberg's castle park

When Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie bought Karlberg in 1669, he also had a new lavish baroque park built under the direction of Jean De la Vallée. Orangeries, ponds, water features, parterres and terraces with boxwood and tree plantings were added. The inspiration for the park came from France. The architect Nicodemus Tessin d.y. completed work on the park. // Wikipedia
