Järntorget med brunn

15th century. Järntorget (Iron square) is a historic site and a square in the southern part of gamla stan, Stockholm. Västerlång- och Österlånggatan meets here. The name is reminiscent of the iron handling that was here until 1662. In the middle of the square is järntorgspumpen, one of Stockholm's few remaining public pumps, but no longer in operation (visit Stockholm's public wells and pumps). //Wikipedia
