Grave of Morgan the Horse

The warmblood horse Morgan was born in 1992 and made a career as a jumping horse. When he retired from competition, he ended up at the Lifeguard's Kavallerikasern K1 as a riding school horse. The new life did not suit Morgan, and he soon became known as the meanest horse in the entire stable. If anyone tried to get close to him, he would do his best to kick and bite them. After he bit a student in the chest so hard that the skin came off, he was subsequently made to wear a muzzle.
Morgan died in 2008 after sustaining an injury, and a memorial stone was erected in the animal cemetery outside the barracks grounds, reading:
