Hufvudsta farm

Huvudsta farm is a manor house in Solna municipality located on the north side of Lake Ulvsunda. The current main building was built in 1836 after the old main building (the current Huvudsta Old Castle) had been moved about 300 metres to the northwest. Johan Wibom started in 1818 with a lively reconstruction business and in 1818-25 had all the outbuildings that are still on the farm , the state building, stable and barn extensions, wagon and outbuildings, ice cellars and brandy distillery been built. (The destillery was of great importance until it was closed in 1863.) All these houses are plastered and has yellow smooth plaster and have curb roofs. The roof list was given on several of the buildings a very characteristic design in the form of a heavily tooth-cut-like décor. //Wikipedia.
