Hedvig Eleonora church

Hedvig Eleonora church (also called Östermalmskyrkan), Storgatan at Östermalmstorg, Stockholm, belongs to the Church of Sweden and is the parish church for Hedvig Eleonora parish in the Stockholm diocese.
The church was inaugurated on 21 August 1737 and is named after Queen Hedvig Eleonora, wife of Karl X Gustav. Today's church depicts two stages in the building history of the church. The dome differs significantly from the lower section in terms of both style and dimensions. It was added in 1866–1868 after a drawing by the architect Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander (1816–1881), with revisions by the court architect Bror Carl Malmberg (1818–1877).
Two crypts on the west facade are the remains of two west towers begun in 1755. The towers were never completed, but were furnished in 1792 as single-story tombs. // Wikipedia
