The Hauptway area

The Hauptväg area was built between 1949 and 1950 and consists of an inner ring with a lamella house surrounding a larger farm with natural land and a children's playground. Around the lamella houses there is a ring with 10 3-4 storeys high point houses. In the split-level basements of the houses there are premises, originally intended for, among other things, craftsmen and shops. Architects for the area were Ancker-Gate-Lindegren with architects Sten Lindegren, Bengt Gate and Stig Ancker. The artist Olle Bonnier participated in the coloring of the facades. The houses in the outer ring have partly brick facades and yellow colors while the slat houses have uncoloured lime plaster. The ”game table” in the middle is different.
