Gyllingska villa

Year of construction 1903. The villa is located on a southern slope with a splendid view of Magelungen. It is a single-storey building with an extended attic and a high stone plinth. The area is 300 m². The now pink facade panel (originally yellow) alternates between portrait and landscape. A horizontal white strip runs at the bottom of the windows on both the ground floor and the attic. On both the back and front of the house, the central axis is marked by a front stove. At the front there is also a veranda with a balcony in the middle axis. On the front, the corners of the house and the veranda are marked by white pilaster-like corner boards. The outer roof is a hipped gable roof covered with red clay brick. The roof pitch continues outside the facade and white, contour-sawn brackets sit under the overhang. In 1914 the house was rebuilt. Among other things, the projecting entrance area was widened and today's entrance door was added. At the same time, a flower room was built with the part where the secondary entrance was located. The attic was furnished and the back was fitted with a front stove. The front stove was probably also added at this time. //Wikipedia
