The house of Grill

Grillska huset, Stortorget 3, Gamla stan, Stockholm, dates back to the Middle Ages, but a thorough rebuilding took place in 1649. The house was then rebuilt and changed in 1750 and 1914. The large and unusually softly shaped baroque gables and some decoratively painted ones originate from the 17th-century rebuilding joists. The facade's classic lis division and some preserved furnishings are from the middle of the 18th century.
