The Garrison

Garrisonen is a neighborhood and a large office complex located at Karlavägen 96-112 / Oxenstiernsgatan 15 / Linnégatan 87-89 / Banérgatan 16-30, between Karlaplan and Radiohuset at Östermalm in Stockholm. The different parts of the property were built in 1886, 1963 (FOA house) and 1972 (Karlahuset). The building is located on old barracks grounds. The older parts with a facade facing Linnégatan, designed in 1873–1875 by Ernst Jacobsson, were originally the barracks buildings of the Svea lifeguard and the Göta lifeguard and are today green-labeled by the City Museum in Stockholm, which means that the building is "particularly valuable from a historical, cultural, environmental or artistic point of view" .//Wikipedia
