Fengerska house, Stockholm's seamen's home

The house was built in 1647 by the citizen Lars Mårtensson Remmare. Between 1891 and 1964, the building was home to Stiftelsen Stockholm's seamen's home. The building is blue-classed by the City Museum in Stockholm. The building with its red brick facade and facade text "1891 Stockholms Sjömanshem 1964" as well as a crenellated corner tower with a ship's mast on top is a well-known feature of Stockholm's cityscape. //Wikipedia
