Church of England

The English Church or St Peter and St Sigfrid is a church building. In 1864, the commission went to architect James Souttar, who modified the drawings and led the construction work from 1864 to 1866, when at Wallingatan, the Church was moved stone by stone to its present location in 1913, however. The church is built of red rosary sandstone in a neo-Gothic style and resembles an English country church. A later extension with facades made of mud and pink discolored brick was built in 1989. //Wikipedia. Denomination: Church of England.
