Elfvinggården/building

Built in 1940. Elfvinggården, which was originally built in 1939–1940, consists of low houses in yellow brick with folded facades and bay windows to prevent visibility and catch the light. The houses are located in the hilly terrain and are connected by glazed corridors, arcades. In one of the buildings there is a dining room for 150 guests, a communal kitchen, a lounge and a terrace. The dining room and living room were placed in the house at the top of the mountain. From its terrace you have an extensive view of Stockholm and Lake Mälaren. The builder was Olle Engkvist and the architects were Sven Backström and Leif Reinius at Backström & Reinius Arkitekter AB. In December 2014, the tenth building was ready for occupancy. It was designed by Andreas Palme, Total Architecture and Urbanism. Collective house from the 40s, K-marked blue Wikipedia
