Brantingtorget/Square

Brantingtorget is the round place in Kvarteret Cephalus in Old Town, Stockholm.
The square was named after Hjalmar Branting (politician) and was designed by Arthur von Schmalensee. Von Schmalensee's building has a circular paved courtyard with a diameter of just over 30 meters, beneath which is a garage. Inspiration came from the circular Politigården in Copenhagen built in 1924. The center of the yard is decorated by Ivar Johnsson's sculpture "Morgon" erected in 1962. Wikipedia
