Bellmanskällan

Wellfountain at Bellmanskällevägen 1 in the district of Hägersten (informal Mälarhöjden), southern Stockholm. The source has been mentioned in writing since 1803. The local tradition, however, believes that its existence dates back to Carl Michael Bellman's time and that the source is identical to that of the poet in Fredman's epistel N:o 82: ”Rest at this source” (Vila vid denna källa) from 1790.
The current small well building was built in 1928 and is made of limestone from Öland. The well is surrounded by a low natural stone wall. Architect Albin Brag was responsible for the drawings and the stone works were carried out by stonemason Algot Karlsson. The roof is a simple dome ceiling made of copper that is crowned by a small lyre. On the front is a bronze medallion depicting Bellman. The medallion is cast after a plaster portrait signed by Johan Tobias Sergel in 1797. Wikipedia
