Villa Lyran

Villa Lyran is a summer villa, built in 1867 overlooking Mälaren at what was then called Leopold's lyre. The drawings were based on Georg Theodor Chiewitz's pattern villa for smaller family, presented in a trade magazine in 1850. The villa is built in Swiss style with some strange structures, such as the building's tower roof is capable of being raised and lowered. A large veranda runs along the lake side of the house, and the exterior has many leaf-sawed details. The interior has boased walls and stucco and a sculpted stove in the large room. The interior is largely unchanged since the house was built. Ålgrytevägen 90, K-marked blue. The villa is now a restaurant //Wikipedia
