Vegamonumenetet

The monument is standing outside the Observatory Museum on Obsevatorie Hill. Created by Ivar Johnsson in gilded copper and granite, in memory of Adolf Erik Nordenskiöld(1832-1901) Polartravellers and explorers who with their ship Vega discovered the Northeast Passage.
