1939–45, Skanskvarn's anti-aircraft position. The facility was in ”sharp position” during the contingency years 1939 to 1945. The main task of Skanskvarn's anti-aircraft position was to defend the Skansbron and Skanstullbridge (which was then under construction) as well as the important railway connection Årstabron (together with tivoliberget's anti-aircraft position). If the defense had broken down, it was the idea of blowing up the Årsta Bridge before the enemy could use it.
