Mosebacke water tower

The tower was designed by architect Ferdinand Boberg and was completed in 1896. The octagonal tower building was dressed in red Helsingborg brick in pattern-walled sections and high round arc friement of form bricks. Against this contrasts a rich ornamentation of natural stone details. The top of the tower has long narrow, cut-in niches and protruding granite corner plinths. The water tower container was decommissioned in 1960 and today the facility only serves as a pumping station while the tower is rebuilt for private housing. / Wikipedia
