The concert hall

The building was built between 1924 and 1926 following drawings by architect Ivar Tengbom. The concert hall, which opened on April 7, 1926, is counted, together with a few more buildings, as one of the most prominent examples of Swedish 1920s classicism and was one of the first buildings in Sweden specifically designed for orchestral music.
