The house of Bünsow

An exclusive apartment building located on Strandvägen 29-33 on Östermalm in central Stockholm, built 1886-1888 for the wood patron and millionaire Friedrich Bünsow according to drawings by architects Isak Gustaf Clason (facades) and Anders Gustaf Forsberg (plans). The sketches for the facades of the house were added during a journey among the Renaissance castle of the Loire dale, which influenced the design. There are three apartment buildings that have a common block facade. The material treatment of the facades is carried out with great care. German moulded brick is partly laid in pattern with black glazed brick. Light limestone was used in window scopes, cornices and on the ground floor with its three gates. Source: Wikipedia
