The Åhlens Clock

Åhlénsklockan (also called Åhléns time ball) is a neon sculpture in the form of a ball-shaped clock on the roof of the department store Åhléns Söder's entrance building at the corner Götgatan / Ringvägen on Södermalm in Stockholm. Åhléns tidkula won the annual brilliant sign by the City Museum in Stockholm. The well-known neon sculpture came into place in November 1942. It is designed as a globular clock crowned by a dalahorse. The entire sculpture weighs 3, 500 kilos and has four dials and a red neon light ring hovering above // Wikipedia.
