"Vårbyskatter"

The artist Mari Pårup has made over 100 hemispheres on the yellow brick wall at Vårby farm school. They resemble pearls. Together they form a long necklace that hangs and runs in different lengths. They are made of stoneware clay fired at 1,280 degrees and vary in size. The largest are 50 cm wide and the smallest 15 cm. They have different colors and expressions. No two pearls are exactly alike. Still, the necklace and beads are done in a cohesive color scheme. Green, blue, gold.
