”My Heart in the World" sculpture
Nils Dahlberg's memorial to Olof Palme ”My Heart in the World, 1989, is portrayed as a great broken heart and symbolizes openness, internationalism, peace and freedom. The sculpture was a gift from Swedish popular movements and interest groups. Nils Dahlgren has polished flat, convex and concave stainless-steel surfaces to evoke reflections from the surroundings. The postament is of polished diabase and on its pages are the inscriptions: ”Freedom of all peoples, ”Peace of the whole world, ”Equal value of all” and ”Everyone's equal right”. //Wikipedia.
