"Artistic design"

Five marble feeding tables, from Karl XI's court stables (which was located where the Riksplan is today). The mosaic, of street and cobblestone, on the ground, is an artistic representation of the original use of the feeding tables. The motifs are a play on the words "hopscotch" and "horse paddock" and bring to mind the place's former inhabitants. The feeding tables were designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder.
The work was performed in 1983 by Acke Oldenburg. //The Riksdag administration
